Rod Reel Pier
Anna Maria Island is without a doubt one of my absolute favorite places!
The Gulf of Mexico and the wonderful beaches make you forget everyday life and relax.
Unfortunately, it gets busier and more expensive every year. That takes some of the joy away.

Water lilies
Photographed at the Wilhelma, the zoological and botanical garden in Stuttgart.
The gardeners work true wonders! A paradise for plants and animals.

Gotha Orangery
It was a wonderful visit to the city of Gotha.
The castle park, Friedenstein Castle, the Orangery, and—last but not least—the impressive view of the Town Hall and the historic city center are always worth a visit!
There is a great deal to see and explore.

Ready for the day
I explore the Wilhelma in every season!
And every time, there is much to marvel at. Above all, the magnificent and diverse plant species fascinate me deeply.
This visit took place in the spring of 2026.
