Focus on the details of nature
As a photographer, I pay meticulous attention to the little things in nature.
And time and again I realize that there is nothing more beautiful than the colors of nature.

Magnolia blossom in spring 2026 and much more!

Photographed during a visit to the Wilhelma Zoo during the magnolia blossom season.
For me, the magnolias are the sign of coming spring. And every year I look forward to it.
This time I tried to manage with just my new Rollei 85mm F1.8. It wasn't easy and takes practice. But the bokeh and the handling were perfect! I already love my new lens. And of course, the magnolias!
As is usually the case at the Wilhelma, other objects also came into view this time.

Der Hexer - Ein nostalgischer Krimiabend

Ende März 2026 war ich mal wieder im alten Schauspielhaus in Stuttgart. Gezeigt wurde „Der Hexer“, eine Inszenierung nach Edgar Wallace unter der Regie von Eva Hosemann.
Ich erwartete einen spannenden, nostalgischen Krimiabend mit Grusel und Witz. Und genau das bekam ich auch!
Dieses Theaterstück ist nun genau 100 Jahre alt. Ein guter Zeitpunkt, es noch einmal neu zu inszenieren.
Natürlich geht es mir wie den meisten in meinem Alter. Ich habe den Film „Der Hexer“ bereits als Kind gesehen und konnte damals nicht wirklich gut einschlafen. „Der Hexer“ weckt bei mir Kindheitserinnerungen.
Und so freute ich mich sehr auf den Theaterabend.
